The PNG Gas Limited Management Team is a dynamic and efficient group of professionals who excel in driving the company’s strategic vision and operational success. Engr. Gabriel Ilenreh

Engr. Ilenreh is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of PNG Gas Limited. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, Benin City, and an MBA from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. Additionally, he is an Oracle Certified Associate in data management and processing.

With over 30 years of experience, Engr. Ilenreh is a seasoned engineer whose expertise spans Plant Operations and Maintenance, Business Development, Project Management, and Executive Leadership.

He began his career at Palplast Nigeria Limited in Ilupeju, Lagos, as a Shift Production Supervisor. He later joined Tate Industries PLC as Assistant Manager – Production, before moving to West African Portland Cement Plc as a Technical Superintendent. In this role, he was responsible for operations, quality control, process efficiency, and project management.

From 2000 to 2003, he worked at Gaslink Nigeria Limited as Technical Assistant to the Managing Director/CEO, providing strategic and project execution support. He was later redeployed to the Business Development team, where he led the development of the Greater Lagos Industrial Area Gas Project Phase II.

In 2003, Engr. Ilenreh joined Owel-Linkso, where he played a key role in project development and management, eventually rising to the position of Chief Operating Officer for the group. Between 2012 and 2014, he served as the Managing Director of Linkso Nigeria Limited, overseeing multiple projects in operations & maintenance, engineering, project management, technical manpower supply, and quality management services across the oil and gas sector.

In 2014, he was appointed the Pioneer Managing Director of PNG Gas Limited. Under his leadership, the company successfully launched operations and implemented the revamp and optimization of the 30mmscfd Egbaoma Gas Processing Plant.

Engr. Ilenreh is a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is a Fellow of both the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE). He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria, among other professional affiliations.

Dr. Amonia Sylvanus Tariah

Dr. Amonia Sylvanus Tariah is the Chief Financial Officer, PNG Gas Limited.

With over 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, and risk management, Dr. Amonia Sylvanus Tariah is a seasoned finance professional driving business growth and operational excellence at PNG Gas Limited. His career, which began in 1995 at KPMG Audit (Chartered Accountants), has been marked by key roles that have honed his expertise in strategic financial management and leadership.

Notably, Dr. Tariah has held senior positions, including Internal Audit Manager at Platform Petroleum Limited, Manager, Business Risk and Control at Notore Chemical Industries Plc, and Senior Assistant Manager at Zenith Bank Plc. Throughout his career, he has consistently delivered value by enhancing internal processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening organisational frameworks.

Dr. Tariah’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Business Administration in Strategic Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, an MBA in Finance & Banking from the University of Port Harcourt, and a BSc in Accounting from Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He has also earned a Leadership & Management Certificate from the Wharton School, USA, and completed a Policy, Strategy and Leadership Course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru.

As a respected professional, Dr. Tariah holds esteemed affiliations, including Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria. He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. These credentials underscore his dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and delivering exceptional service.

Dr. Tariah is a dedicated family man who is passionate about driving organisational success, fostering teamwork, and upholding good corporate governance.

Engr. Samuel Okhiria

Engr. Okhiria is currently the Chief Operating Officer of PNG Gas Limited.

He began his engineering profession at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma where he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Post Graduate Diploma in Procurement and Contracts Management (Eduqual, UK) Westford School of Management; he has acquired lots of professional certifications. He has a professional certificate in Gas Distribution Engineering from Gas Technology Institute, USA; a Quality Auditor, and a Certified Business Consultant with the Institute of Certified Business Consultant Canada. He is a corporate member of Nigerian Society of Engineers.

Engr. Okhiria is a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and has over 20 years work experience. Progressively, he has been responsible for Organizational Leadership in Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering Design, with diverse experience in Pipeline & Process Plant Designs, expert knowledge of Contract & Project Management in the Oil and Gas industry. He Served as a Project Manager for numerous Oil and Gas Engineering Projects.

He has successfully worked at local and international levels on various Engineering Projects, developed and managed various business processes in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining PNG, he was the Managing Director of Piprops Engineering Limited, General Manager (Engineering Procurement & Construction Management) & Operations Manager in Linkso Nigeria Limited and has earlier worked in PPMC/NNPC and Kost Associates Nigeria Limited.

Engr. Iheanancho Bob Ibegbulam

Engr. Bob Ibegbulam is currently the Assistant General Manager, Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems (AGM QHSE) at PNG Gas Limited.

He holds a B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi and an MSc in Quality Management from Aberdeen Business School (ABS), The Robert Gordon University, Scotland.

Bob is a highly qualified and result oriented Senior QHSE expert with over 18 years track record of quick and sustainable delivery of organizational strategic vision. He has developed and maintained integrated business management systems to achieve asset integrity, capital efficiency and sustainable competitiveness in the oil and gas industry.

Prior to joining PNG, he worked as Quality Assurance Advisor at Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo – Deepwater Projects) and Principal Quality Engineer for Exxon Mobil Major Integrity Projects (MIPS); proving quality management and technical integrity verification supports to brownfield projects. He also worked as Corporate Principal Quality Engineer at DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited (a WorleyParsons Company), Corporate Quality Manager at QED International (Oil and Gas) Nigeria Limited, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Coordinator at Daewoo E & C and Depot Maintenance Engineer at NNPC – PPMC.

Bob is a COREN registered Mechanical Engineer and certified Quality Management Systems Auditor with the Chartered Quality Institute UK (CQI/IRCA) and Standard Organization for Nigeria (SON). He is also a certified Occupational Health and Safety System Auditor with Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB) Canada, an International Team Excellence Award (ITEA) Judge with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) USA.

He is a trained enterprise risk management and casual reasoning practitioner, ARMS Reliability certified Root Cause facilitator, CSWIP certified Plant Inspector and PCN certified Level III Non-Destructive Testing practitioner, amongst others.

Mr. Samson Adeleke

Samson Adeleke currently holds the position of Internal Audit Manager at PNG Gas Limited.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Lagos and is a certified member of ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria). He is also an ISO 9001 Certified Auditor and a PECB Lead Implementer in Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301). With specialized training in risk management and data analytics, his expertise spans across regulatory compliance, process reengineering, and risk management.

Samson started his career as an Internal Audit Supervisor at UAC Diaries before moving to UPDC Plc as a Risk and Compliance Manager. He then joined Livestock Feeds Plc, where he played a key role in implementing their Risk Management framework and establishing a risk-based approach to internal audits. At Portland Paints Plc, he led the operationalization of their Enterprise Risk Framework and managed risk-based internal audits.

At Coronation Registrar, Samson served as Head of Internal Control and Risk Management, leading the development of a business risk management framework and improving processes through reengineering. His responsibilities expanded into business continuity management, serving as an SEC-sponsored individual, and acting as a Data Protection Officer.

Most recently, Samson was with FiberOne Broadband, where he led the internal audit team and developed their risk management framework before joining PNG Limited. His extensive experience in audit, risk, and compliance makes him a versatile leader in driving operational efficiency and risk management.
